As YAPARLAR \u0130n\u015faat ve Tar\u0131m Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.\u015e., in line with our values of quality, trust, and stability, we regard the information created, processed, stored, and shared during our activities as one of our most important corporate assets.
\nWe consider ensuring the security of the information used in our production, design and product development, procurement, sales, export, logistics, human resources, finance, information technology, dealer management, e-commerce, and other support processes to be one of our fundamental responsibilities.
\nThe primary objective of our Information Security Management System is to ensure the following with respect to information belonging to our company, employees, customers, dealers, suppliers, and other relevant interested parties:
\n\u2022 Confidentiality: Ensuring that information is accessible only to authorized persons,
\n\u2022 Integrity: Preserving the accuracy and completeness of information,
\n\u2022 Availability: Ensuring that authorized users can access the information and systems they require when needed.
\nFor this purpose, as YAPARLAR, we undertake to:
\n\u2022 Establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve our Information Security Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO\/IEC 27001:2022 standard,
\n\u2022 Systematically identify our information assets and the threats to those assets; assess and prioritize information security risks and reduce them to acceptable levels through appropriate controls,
\n\u2022 Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations relating to the protection of personal data, intellectual and industrial property rights, trade secrets, and information security,
\n\u2022 Protect information belonging to our customers, employees, dealers, suppliers, and business partners against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, damage, and destruction,
\n\u2022 Ensure the security of our product designs, technical drawings, production information, process data, commercial information, pricing information, financial records, and other corporate knowledge,

\nOur General Principles
\nAt YAPARLAR A.\u015e., we regard acting with a sense of social responsibility in all our activities as one of the fundamental and enduring elements of our management approach. We are committed to implementing sustainable and continuously improvable social responsibility practices.
\nWe do not limit our understanding of social responsibility to activities within the organization. We determine our priorities by considering what is best for society and the environment, and we strive to contribute to the development of our community.
\nWe take care to develop and implement approaches that encourage all our business partners, particularly our suppliers, to operate in accordance with YAPARLAR A.\u015e.\u2019s social responsibility standards.
\nWe undertake to respect people and the environment in all geographical regions in which we currently operate or may operate in the future, and we require all our activities to be conducted accordingly.
\nThe YAPARLAR A.\u015e. Code of Ethics, the expectations of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and SA8000, our operating procedures, labor legislation, environmental legislation, and occupational health and safety legislation form the basis of our Corporate Social Responsibility Principles.
\nOur fundamental principles regarding social responsibility practices are as follows:
\n\u2022 We provide equal opportunities to everyone in our practices and approach toward employees and all other stakeholders. We oppose all forms of discrimination based on religion, language, race, color, gender, political opinion, organizational membership, or similar grounds. We act without discrimination throughout all employment processes, from recruitment to termination. We also aim to create a positive and harmonious working environment that supports cooperation and prevents conflict.
\n\u2022 We ensure that our employees are able to exercise their employment and personal rights fully and correctly. We develop systems to ensure that employees are compensated through a balanced and fair remuneration structure. We recognize the statutory minimum wage as the minimum level of pay required to meet employees\u2019 living expenses and ensure that overtime wages are paid.
\n\u2022 We recognize that informed and aware employees are essential for the full implementation of social compliance throughout our company. During recruitment and at regular intervals throughout employment, we provide information and training on employee rights, company rules, and working conditions in order to increase employee awareness.
\n\u2022 Our employees are our company\u2019s most valuable asset. Ensuring and protecting their occupational health and safety is one of our highest-priority business objectives. We conduct risk assessments concerning the health and safety of our employees and operations and take all necessary measures to eliminate or reduce identified risks, thereby providing a healthy and safe working environment. We monitor applicable legislation and implement many practices that exceed legal requirements. To ensure the effectiveness and appropriateness of our occupational health and safety practices, we continuously strive to identify areas for improvement through both internal and external audits.
\n\u2022 We make the necessary efforts to support the individual development of our employees and maintain a balance between their professional and personal lives. We comply with regulations governing working hours and prepare our work plans accordingly. \n\u2022 We do not employ anyone below the statutory minimum working age. In particular, to help prevent child labor, we provide training and information to all our stakeholders, including our suppliers. We comply with the age limits established under applicable laws and regulations and implement special protective measures for young workers who have not yet reached adulthood.
\n\u2022 We do not permit any employee to work without employment security. We also establish and enforce rules to prevent suppliers from employing uninsured workers or operating in violation of labor legislation.
\n\u2022 At YAPARLAR A.\u015e., we respect our employees\u2019 rights to freedom of association, collective bargaining, the establishment of workers\u2019 organizations, and membership in such organizations. We ensure that employees can regularly discuss working conditions with company management without fear of adverse consequences.
\n\u2022 We recruit individuals who choose to work of their own free will and do not benefit from any form of forced, compulsory, or involuntary labor. Under no circumstances do we require employees to settle any obligation to the company through their labor. Employees have the right to terminate their employment contracts within the periods stipulated by law. Employee commitment within our company is entirely based on voluntary engagement. We believe that loyalty to the company should be achieved voluntarily rather than through coercion. Accordingly, we conduct employee engagement surveys and implement activities designed to measure and strengthen employees\u2019 voluntary commitment to the company.

Under no circumstances do we tolerate the exchange of money or gifts intended to influence the conduct of another person, organization, politician, public employee, or public authority for commercial or personal gain. We provide our employees with training on the YAPARLAR A.\u015e. Code of Ethics and ensure that all activities are conducted accordingly.
